PGA Tour Yardage Book - Innisbrook Copperheads 18th Hole

Hole 18: "Copperhead" - 443 yards, Par 4

Handicap: M = 10, W = 6

The 72nd (and possibly) last hole of the 2017 Valspar Championship features a 445 yard, slightly uphill Par 4 that will force the Tour pros to hit the fairway off the tee-box. Most will opt for a 3 wood to take the right side bunkers out of play.

Bunkers surround the skinny fairway with the following carry distances off the tee:

  • A: 236

  • B: 262

  • C: 283

  • D: 286

  • E: 312

  • F: 325

Depending on where the shot lands, players will have about 150 - 165 yards to get on the green and have a shot at Birdie. The right green side bunker has been a funnel for balls this week and surely there will be plenty of rack marks for the final group.

***Spoiler Alert***

Adam Hadwin got bit off the tee on 16, as his drive landed in the drink. A Double Bogey gave life to 24 year old, 2nd place finisher Patrick Cantlay as they were both at -14 under heading into the Par 3, 17th hole.

Both Hadwin and Cantlay saved Par and went into the 72nd hole all square. Beautiful drives from both men found the fairway, but Cantlay's nerves were visible as he found the right green side bunker. Hadwin found the back edge of the fringe, and made par to win the 2017 Valspar Championship and earned a healthy paycheck of $1.13 million. He also gets an invite to the 2017 Masters, which is less than 25 days away!
